Sound Healing Training

I am a certified teacher of the Atma Buti® Method of Sound Healing developed by Suren Shrestha.  Levels I and II can be taken with me in NJ as an extension of the Boulder location. Level III and the Practicum have to be taken with the Master Teacher Suren Shrestha in NJ or in Boulder, CO.

Beginning in 2019 – In order to become an Atma Buti® Certified Sound Healing Practitioner, one must complete all requirements in Levels I-III and then attend a 2-day practicum within 2 years of taking Level I.  Requirements will be discussed in detail in your Level I training.

Level I and II consist of 12-hour in-classroom training plus required practice hours, book report and case studies.

Level III consists of 18-hour in-classroom training plus required practice hours, case studies and book report.

Students who are repeating any level of training get 30% discount for tuition.

12 Continuing education credits for Yoga Teachers are available through YA and for Massage Therapists through NCBTMB for each level.  IAYT CE’s are pending.

No previous sound healing or any healing modality experience required. This training is appropriate for those who want to learn how to bring in sound healing for themselves or pursue the path of becoming a certified sound healing practitioner in the Atma Buti® Method of Sound Healing.

In the Level III Sound Healing Course, we will continue to practice protocols and deepen our connection to our clients.  We have practiced up to now paying attention to all aspects of our sound therapy sessions.  In this course, we will expand upon the skills you have begun to acquire from Levels 1 and 2.  We explore developing mindfulness as we interact with our clients by observation, communication, and responsiveness.

We want to become more aware of  “the space in between” where healing can take place.  In this course, we will set out protocols to help induce a state of well-being through emotional releases and integration with mind, body, and spirit.  The emphasis at this level is to develop our intuition and creativity in sound healing sessions.

Schedule: Friday/Saturday/Sunday August 7-9, 9:30am-5 pm (1 hour lunch and breaks included)

A practicum is a 2-day offering  where a student or current practitioner has the opportunity to display their knowledge of the Atma Buti® method in order to obtain or update certification as an Atma Buti® Sound Healing Practitioner.  The practicum may include practice and assessment of one’s understanding of Atma Buti® protocols and methods.  A practicum is simply an opportunity for one to demonstrate their proficiency in the Atma Buti® protocols and make a conscious choice to promote the tradition and lineage of Atma Buti®, Soul Medicine.   It is a privilege to have any student apply to become an Atma Buti® Practitioner and current practitioners are welcome to also apply to review and expand their skill set.

Prerequisite: Students wishing to become a fully certified Atma Buti® practitioner must have previously completed Levels I, II, & III, and the following requirements: book reports, case studies and practice hours (more details below)

Investment: $594 and $54 application fee

Schedule: Monday/Tuesday  August 3/4  9:30am-5pm (1 hour lunch and breaks are included)
